Adapt Stands for Gender Equality

Adapt's statement on reproductive rights

As you may or may not know, the Supreme Court has leaked that they are planning to strike down the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, according to an initial draft majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito circulated inside the court.
There are many people across the US organizing to stand up against this decision, and show their support for women’s rights, and even bigger, human rights. A national week of action is planned for May 8-14, including many women and allies striking nationwide. They are making a statement: No work. No unpaid labor. No shopping. No Restaurants. No more tolerating being treated like guests in our own bodies.
Adapt as an organization is also making a statement. We believe this is so important to our future as a country we all want to live in. We are in a unique position to be privileged enough to focus our time and effort on this, and will absolutely be doing so. Our number one goal as an organization is to “make an impact” - and we have an opportunity and a responsibility to start right now.

Many of us will be taking a week off from client projects this week in order to organize and activate our digital resources and the people on our team to fight back and make the greatest impact. The women of Adapt US will be leading this effort, but have the full backing and support of Adapt at large, with special appreciation for the humanity and activism of our founders and leaders.
