How Adapt Aligns With the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals: Affordable and Clean Energy

We've talked about how our agency aligns with #5 of UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, and today we're thrilled to share more about SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy.

In 2019 the share of renewable sources in total final energy consumption amounted to almost the same as in 2015: 17.7%. Progress in energy efficiency needs to speed up soon if we're going to achieve the current global climate goals.

This year, the war in Ukraine drove up global energy prices and increased energy insecurity in Europe. In response, some European countries are speeding up the transition to renewables and increasing their investments in energy efficiency, while other countries are planning to bring about a resurgence of coal, putting the green transition at risk.

While this is a global issue, we know that Adapt still has the power to make a difference, which is why:

• We create a performance budget for every client
• We run a Lighthouse test before and after every solution to confirm the performance aligns with our mission.
