Maine and Denmark: A Shared Vision for Sustainable Energy
Last week marked an exciting chapter for both Maine and Denmark as Governor Janet Mills, accompanied by MITC President Wade Merritt and International Trade Specialist Abigail Gray, completed a mission to strengthen offshore wind development. For us at Adapt Agency USA, with our Danish roots and Maine home, this mission represents the perfect intersection of our worlds.
Sustainable Energy
As both Maine and Denmark work toward ambitious clean energy goals, we are excited to see the impact of this partnership. From meetings at The Danish Parliament to on-site visits at Port Esbjerg, it’s clear that our two regions are poised to shape the global offshore wind industry together. We’re ready to harness the power of offshore wind to create a greener future for Maine and the world.
As a member of the Maine International Trade Center (MITC) and Maine 2022 Foreign Direct Investor of the Year, Adapt is honored to support this global collaboration and work alongside MITC to bring sustainable solutions to Maine’s energy future.
Our CEO, Kresten Wiingaard, even joined Governor Mills with members of the Danish Confederation of Industry, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable energy innovation (Pictured).
The integration of offshore wind offers tremendous opportunities for sustainability and innovation, and we can’t wait to see how this shapes Maine's future!
